You will see many of the unique sights that greeted travellers decades ago. Some of the small towns and many of the commercial establishments have been well preserved and still operate as they did in a by-gone era.  We will also visit the Ghost Towns which were left behind during the California Gold Rush, leaving towns abandoned for us to explore.  We will be filling our Harleys with petrol using 50 year old petrol pumps at stations as old as the sunny American West. Most of the restaurants and motels included in your tour have wonderfully restored antique cars to enjoy, and you will enjoy the sight of tumbleweeds and nature's beauty as we roll along through these timeless mountains and deserts.
